- Hi Jean.....Mark here,
-
- As far as I know i3 STYLES (*.STY), ARRANGEMENTS (*.ARR), PROGRAMS (*.PCG)
- and BACKING SEQUENCES (*.BSQ) are compatible with the i5S & i5M.
-
- Note:
-
- i) i1, i2 & i3 support SONG FILES (*.SNG) which cannot be loaded into i5S &
- i5M. These files however can be saved out as SMF's and then loaded into
- i5S/M for use in SONG PLAY mode.
-
- ii) i5S/M files are NOT backwards compatibe with i1/i2/i3. I tried to load
- files saved on an i5M but none would load "NOT i3 FORMAT".
-
- Maybe the missing files message appears because you are doing a LOAD ALL
- operation, and some of the files are actually missing. For a Backing
- Sequence you may need BSQ, ARR, STY & PCG. Maybe some of the other i5 users
- can help you out here.
-
- Hope this helps a little,
-
- Mark.
